Today was already planned. We were going to spend the day laying on the beach and were so looking forward to it. There are a couple of resident peacocks in the park and I was fortunate to hand feed one this morning. We were all loaded up and set for the morning. Packed up and said goodbye to Townsville. Not really knowing where we will stop, but possibly Airlie Beach. The drive was pleasant with many intervals brought about by traffic lights for road works, how to make a 2 hour drive into 3 hours.
