After an early start ,we left behind the beautiful waterholes & falls of Canal Creek. Our next destination, Loyalty Beach, it's near Seisia on the coast. Up early to complete the Telegraph track which we decided to do without our campers as there was to be quite a lot of water ahead of us and we had already drowned one fridge. A lay day was decided upon in preparation for the second half of the OTT. Everyone packed and fixed followed by a long soak in the Creek. Joe went off up the creek with snorkel and goggles to look for crocodiles, lucky for the crocodiles he didn't find any. The evening was spent sitting around the camp fire have a few cold ales and listening to country and western.

The days plan was to leave the campers at Canal Creek and venture back down the Old Telegraph Track to visit Fruit Bat Falls, Elliot Falls and Twin Falls. The Landcruiser is much better to drive without the Turtle on its back. Fruit Bat falls is absolutely magnificent, pristine water flowing over the falls in a beautiful setting and the temperature, it's just not Victoria. After breaking camp this morning our first crossing was Cockatoo Creek. This had a very steep and rocky descent that needed guidance and once down at water level we all had to get out and act as markers for some rather large holes and some huge rocks.
