It is day 38 of 60 and I've finally made it to Pemberton. I am over the half way point of the track and this has been the first opportunity i have had to concentrate on my travel blog.
I have got quite a few war wounds which are healing quite well at the moment as I have been going to the local masseus and Physiotherapist. During September I encountered a 94 year storm consequently i got really bad blisters on the left foot and tendonitis on the right foot. I also managed to do something to my left thigh. Apart from these concerns which have been slowing me down my spirits are still high and I am still meeting some very interesting people at each hut most nights.
As I am spending longer at each town to recover and mend to my wounds I tried to apply for an extra weeks leave at work, however they are unable to satisfy my request.
I will be meeting Dad and Kim in Northcliffe next as I hut jump that day and meet them passing thru. The next stop will probably be Walpole where I will be meeting up with Dad and he will be travelling the rest of the track with me.
Till next time I'm gonna love ya and leave ya and I may get something posted in Denmark.
LOL
