This must be a record....two blogs in two days! We arrived in Hanoi yesterday, and are staying in a really nice hotel....kind of by accident, and kind of too much money for us... We were told to be very careful arriving by plane, as as soon as you have got your baggage you are accosted by taxi drivers offering to take you to a hotel. Even if you have a hotel booked...they have a back up plan...set up fake hotels, by the same name of the backpacker/vaguely budge...

Bangkok is a fantastic place. We stayed at a hotel near Khao San road, the Four Sons Inn. It has air-con and sky for GBP 3.50 each a night! It does have a horrendously strong smell of soap though every time you walk into the room, but this goes when the air-con is on. Khao San road is like nowhere i've been before...it's full of street stalls selling everything you could think of, t-shirts, books, dvds, football shirts, fake ids, bags...the list goes on. Not on...

It was lovely to get back to Wellington, it felt like we had come home! Before getting back to the comforts of Mahunga farm I had to overcome one teeny thing.....a pole dancing hen night with 20 women I had never met!!!!(apart from Katherine!!) this was an experience and a half...Im glad I went in the end, but it was pretty nervewracking!! and now it's Craigs turn.... We had a beautiful drive down the west coast, in pretty stormy weather which was perfect for seeing the pancake rocks and the blow hole as the waves were huge. Craig spent a good half hour trying to get the perfect waves-crashing-against-the-rocks photo.
