Hi all,
We have less than a month left now! We have just been in Northern Thailand where we did 3 days trekking and did an elephant ride. We were in a place called Pai and loved it. We had to tear ourselves away to head down to some tropical islands in Malaysia. They're the Perhentian islands and we're staying there for 10 days or so before heading back to Bangkok for Emma's birthday and some last minute shopping. Then on to Hong Kong for our final 4 days...where has the time gone?…

Wow! what an amazing experience you've had - I can tell that a major part has been connecting with people of another culture/language. It's very very special. I hope the rest of the trip is different and you don't feel it a bit of an anti-climax now. It sounds absolutley incredible. i'm dead jealous!! xx

Vietnam sounds great, but you are sounding a little weary and anti-social. You're losing your sense of humour - vietnamese karaoke and giant cockroaches....I can feel a book coming on!

Hey Craig & Emma. We have some friends who moved to Lake Wakatipu called Chris and Mel Cozens who were our neighbours for a long time in Warlingham.
