Travelled across from Oahu to the island of Maui, which is more tranquil than the Americanised Honolulu. Our hotel was lovely, with a nice pool area, where we spent our first day of just relaxing since we've been away.

On Friday 25 September, we hired a car and spent the morning driving the Hana Highway and then hiking up to Twin Falls. Late afternoon we drove to a beautiful beach, met our minister and photographer and .... got married!!

The beach was beautiful and because it was late afternoon, the sun was setting behind us so the photos should be good.

We finished off the day with a wedding meal at Cheeseburger in Paradise, Lahaina. A perfect day!

We'll be arranging a party so we can celebrate with you all when we get back, probably the last Saturday in January.

The photographer has sent the photos home so we'll see them when we get back. We may get a sneak preview by e-mail so if we do we'll post them here.

Onto NZ for the honeymoon...
