Hello everyone. This is my last night in what has been a really good weekend in the capital, Wellington. The whole group has found it to be much nicer than Auckland, everything is much more compact and there is a nice vibe about the place. Over the weekend I haven't really done anything that exciting I am afraid. Yesterday we had a look around the city centre at all the shops and I stocked up on my collection of T-shirts. In the evening the whole group got together and hit the town. It wasn't that bad a night but as it was easter weekend not everywhere was open so it ended up being a fairly quiet affair. This morning I made the most of a lye in, which wasn't needed because of the night before, instead it was to help me recover from all the adrenalin activities of the last week. As the last few days have been quiet on the activity front, I think I am actually beginning to suffer from a lack of adrenalin. Due to it being Easter today some of us from the bus went out for a curry to celebrate and toast leaving the North Island. Tomorrow we have a really early start as we have to catch the ferry that will be taking us to the South Island, so it is going to be a day of travelling. Lovely!
