The last few days have been fairly weird as quite a few people from the big group have now begun going their seperate ways and moving onto their next country. 8 of us still remain in Queenstown, although this will be our last night here as we make our way to Christchurch tomorrow. To break up our stay in Queenstown, me and the lads hired a people carrier out yesterday and went for a road trip down south to Dunedin. It made a nice change just 7 of us heading of somewhere rather than on the coach where we go round with over 40 of us! It wasn't as if we were just going down the road though as it was a 8 hour round trip. The drive was a little bit different than going down the M4 as the whole way was on one road that went passed lakes, through mountains etc. The whole thing worked out really well as Me, Liam, Ryan and Colin shared out the driving duties (1 of the other 3 couldn't drive and the other 2 were too young to drive a hire car). In Dunedin we just chilled out really, had a nice BBQ at the nice hostel we stayed at followed by a few drinks and pool in the bar. The whole trip made a nice change though and gave everyone a chance to relax away from the manic that is Queenstown! Tomorrow, 7 of us are making our way to Twizle to spend a couple of nights at Mount Cook before moving onto the final stop in New Zealand, Christchurch. This time next week I will be in Australia, see you later.
