Sawadee kap folks (thats hello by the way!), having a very chilled time here in ko phangan, we're on the north west of the island in a nice little quiet bay with a few nice little places to eat and drink (pirates bar is the best! set into the cliffside, good tunes and even had the toon match on tv, even though we lost it was good to watch it anyway!) We've even made a new friend, a freaky lizard that launches into its mating call at about 2am each morning normally waking us up! We actually had ot move rooms cos the first one we were in had holes everywhere in the walls and frankie woke up through the night with a little gecko crawling up the middle of the bed!!! I thought she was imagining it and had too many chang beers but then we found him lurking behind the curtains in the morning! Oh dear, the wife was a bit freaked out by that!!
Have done a few really good trips, went to ko phi phi - where they filmed the beach and did some snorkelling, also went to james bond island where they filmed some of the man with the golden gun, also did some sea kayaking there which was cool. Yesterday we went to ko tao which is nearby for more snorkelling, saw some beautiful fish and coral, that was pretty special! Also as frankie mentioned we did elephant trekking which was class - our elephant was called buchi and was a friendly guy, we got to feed him some bananas and i got elephant snot all over my hands - nice!!
Will be putting more photos on soon but the internet connections are not the best in asia so the majority we'll be putting on when we get to australia!
Hope everyone is well, take care, Chris.
