Courtney's CCF Trip

Puppies!
The best part of the program is the care the dogs have even after they leave the facility. CCF conducts frequent check-ins with farmers about the effectiveness of the dog and even travel to see the wellness of the dog. If a dog seems mistreated (abused, underfed, trained for hunting rather than protection), the dog is removed and taken back to our facility to be helped before going to another farm to help (if the dog is in perfect health). Sometimes, dogs retire due to old age or medical problems where they can no longer work with farmers. In these circumstances, they return back to CCF to live out the rest of their days here, or they could be adopted as house pets because they are already trained to have a human connection!
