Happy New Zealand/ Waitangi Day to you all!!!
We have been having a lot of fun here on the Gold Coast, except for the heat and humidity, but it's better than being cold (according to Lynnie). Still havent seen Wiliam (the Kangaroo Lynnie wants to see) we have however seen a possum - 'twas cute. We just got in the spa to cool us down - 'twas nice.
On Thursday we went to Tamborine Mountain; it was very nice. We had a look at some wine and fudge and other arty shops.
Yesterday Ellen took us to Pacific Fair for a bit of shopping. Both Court and I bought new wallets (as ours sucked). We wanted to buy lots of things but have no space in our packs and we don't actually want to carry it all. We went to see a movie (mainly for the airconditioning) "It's Complicated" - it was better than we both thought. At night we watched another movie - "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" which was also quite good.
Today Aunty Michele took us to a cat show, that was cute. Then we went to Robina Town Centre for lunch and ice cream from New Zealand Natural where Ellen works :) That brings us to the present time where we are both hot again! We hear that summer has finally arrived in NZ and are jealous as we missed it.
We got some chocolate for the plane tomorrow night and Lynnie had to open it already - it's not as creamy as NZ chocolate.
One more night on the Gold Coast and then off to Hong Kong and then LONDON BABY.
