Hey Everyone!  We know it's been a couple days,  I think it is going to be like this most the trip (write a blog when we can, ect.)

Right now, we are sitting in a room the size of a closet under a staircase, using an ancient hotel computer.  We are in AMSTERDAM!!  woo woo!  We've spent the past few days in Brighton, and Worthing England. We went to Arundel Castle, where the duke and duchess of norfolk live.  It was seriously incredible, the castle was somewhere around 1000 years old, and we were able to tour it!  We missed seeing the part where the Duke and Duchess live, but we saw the ancient stuff, sand we're very impressed.  There were quite a few Van Eyek's as well as Mary Queen of Scott's artifacts and all sorts of stuff.  It was freezing cold and pouring rain but soooooo worth it!  We were lucky enough to catch part of a jousting tournament, although they did not do the full joust because of the weather.  Everyone was dressed Tudor style, it was very cool!

England was a great experience!  Aunt Mary and her family totally adopted us, and showed us the great sights of southern england as well as warm hospitality.  We really did feel like part of the family.

So now... AMSTERDAM.  People bike everywhere, and get really mad if you walk in the bike lane.  We've been yelled at a couple times already, because we keep getting confused.  Our Hotel is nice,  right in front of a very pretty park.  We are a good distance from most the attractions, but the Van Gogh Museum as well as Anne Frank's house are right down the street,  (we intend to go to both tomorrow).  The city is very interesting looking, all different types of people, mostly young and mostly dutch speaking.  Most people speak at least a little english so It's been okay.
