Good flight over with Air New Zealand arriving with a car which took us to the central bus depot to pick up our tour bus.
Every guide we had so far as has be excellent ! But the driver/guide for Rotorua was in another class of his own as throughout the four-hour journey, he did not stop describing everything from local history and customs, trees & Fauna with a healthy splash of farming he really sounded enthusiastic and knowledgable a true Sage.
We stopped off at The Glow worm caves which were truly liken to a star
Covered night sky with our access being provided by a small boat.
Quick coffee and we were off again on our way to Rotorua with the rain starting to fall, on arrival we were dropped off outside our hotel which was in a good location and a although a five star rating they had kept it's 19th century feel.
Later that evening we went for a walk around the town which was built as single story blocks and even had a starbucks but alas no teddies.
We came across a small cinema which was situated in a cellar, although very small had been decked out professionally with big arm chair seats as if it was one of those studio viewing event.
