Wow, Im here! Its been a week since my arrival and Im still excited to be here. This past week has been like a vacation for me, I've become familiar with the "Metro" and have seen much of downtown. Its amazing how many people are out during the day, eventhough its a hot 90 degrees out. There is the same amount of people out at night also and I mean night night, like 1 am or 2. Women with their babies, children, all walks of life. People dont sleep here, and sleep is something I need a lot of. The bars close at three and the clubs begin to barely get full at this time. Well let me move on to another very important happening.

I have found an apartment, and let me tell you its a relief. Its a nice place, spacious, and the landlord is very nice. Three rooms and one bathroom, will see how well this works out... hehe. The location of the "Pizo" is not far from school, I am guessing about a mile although I have not yet walked it. My room mates (also from California) and I got our keys yesterday and are now able to move in. Im thinking about heading over there today to wash clothes.

Well my first experiences here in Madrid for the most part has been pleasant and Im sure there will be many more to share. The only downfall in traveling is getting sick.
