With Harry still utterly befuddled by Her Majesties passport application form, i thought of it as a great opportunity to begin the years travels solo and a chance to satisfy another long time desire of mine, a journey on-board the German ICE train. Undoubtedly some of the most sophisticated and plush trains currently in existence, they traverse central Europe at speeds of up to 300 kph (thats about 186 mph in BBC English) and they will be taking me to see the world renowned city of Hamburg; before setting on a rather unique journey on-board a train thats on-board a boat to what is perhaps Scandinavia's most attractive royal seat, Copenhagen. And then finishing with a chance to sample some more Deutsch Bahn railway edification aboard the overnight sleeper service to Amsterdam, another city I have yet to visit.
