We left Stockholm on an early morning train. To our great surprise our tickets were for First Class. As a result we had plenty of leg room and breakfast. Upon arrival at Malmö we decided to carry onto Copenhagen. The train there goes over a bridge and through a tunnel that had been featured on "Megastructures", a programme we watched before we left the UK. Unfortunately it was raining in Copenhagen so we only spent a few hours there.
The next day was a full one. We left the house in search of a replacement clip for my broken rucksack, but to no avail. We walked around the main squares of the town center, through the parks and to the castle. Inside the castle we saw an array of exotic animals and fish. On leaving we found that we were supposed to buy a ticket for entry but nobody was taking tickets so we wandered in for free. After this we met up with Daniella (Sara's brothers girlfriend) who was nice enough to be our guide to the parts of the city we had not yet seen. We grabbed an ice cream at the harbour by the turning torso building. Before we knew it, it was 8 o'clock and time to head for some swedish meatballs which had been prepared by Monica (Sara's mum).
Today was pure relaxation. Caught up on some sleep and got some rays in the garden. Tonight off to Berlin on the overnight train...
