So last night wasn't too mad, still tired from the train and a late night meal so got to bed around 12 and rested for the planned boat trip. This morning didn't begin too early as we hired a private boat and was up to us .. So about 8 o clock we met and headed for the docks. The weather is improving, I mean it wasn't raining at least which was a big thing after a few of the days we have had. We jumped aboard then took an hour cruise through the ocean to a fishing island where a small community of people lived. Very picturesque. Not the cleanest but still watching them all work in their basic ways was very impressive. We then moved onto another secluded part of the island or dock. We dropped anchor and got on our scuba diving gear. I was very excited for this but proir to us arriving there had been strong wind and a strong current which has bought up the murky waters from the Philippines. So we couldn't really see much....... So what did we do........ Well, we climbed onto the roof and jumped in..... What else would you do...... This was much fun, especially when an American boat pulled up besides us and we essentially climbed across and commandeered it.. Then about 12 of us jumped into together, what a way to spend Xmas eve... Brilliant... We then dried off and had an actual feast, I mean there was soooooooo much food, really enough for 20 but some people dropped out, so there was only 12 of us..... Much food..... So once stuffed we took a slow cruise back to shore and headed back to the hotel where we napped for just an hour then was up refreshed and ready to go again. Our tour guide had a meal planned on the seafront that apparently did the best seafood in Vietnam, classic phrase. We got there and there were about 20 tanks full of live creatures, I mean crabs, squid, eel and many fish and mussels. That didn't sit to well with Emma as she is not a seafood fan, so the guide ordered in what essentially tasted like super noodles and chilli beef, which she truly enjoyed. I'm not a massive seafood fan myself but I really did enjoy the king prawns, not soo the mussels and oysters. And the chairs were tiny, I mean actually designed for children, so Emma long legs struggled a bit.... But all in all, another good meal...

So it's actually Xmas morning and last night was actually epic, no word of a lie. We headed down to a bar called Sailors, a massive beach bar with a massive beach party, so close to the sea that one wave came in and pretty much engulfed the dance floor,. Just ace... We drank cocktails and danced on the beach until early hours of the morning, I never did expect to have a night like that, let alone Christmas eve, ...... They had proper euphoric trance tunes too so we were in our actual element.... Many hours partying!...... A massive recommendation............
