"First we walk, then a bike, now a metro," my dad utters on the metro ride to get to the Schönebrunn Palace. As we enter Schönebrunn Palace my mom asked if they had any guided tours in English. The man points to the audio guides and we all laugh and say thank you. We take the audio guides and listen to the palace description. I learned that Schönebrunn Palace was the summer residence of Franz Joseph and Sissi. The Holy Roman Empire in Austria and Hungary became the Austrian and Hungarian Empire. Franz Joseph ruled the Austrian and Hungarian Empire which was once very powerful. When we exited we acknowledged the beautiful flower gardens. I loved the flower gardens. "Maze Time!" I screamed as we entered the maze. The maze is The Maze of Mirrors. In this there millions of mirrors that make look different and some regular. The next part in maze is bouncy boards. On this you must get across without falling. The problem is they are very bouncy and slippery. Next we go to somewhere where I get trick. My dad is on a board where you go side to side. My sister said "Hey look here then my dad goes side to side and water sprays my face. I was loving it. It was totally awesome. Last the musical notes. In the musical notes area there is a board where every board has a musical notes. You jump on it and make some music. My sister and I challenge each other. In this challenge you must make a puzzle with the board show them and they must copy your puzzle you showed them. You should go here some day. After that we go to City Hall. Here we listen to the Jazz/Classical Fest. They played somewhat jazz music on classical instruments. The instruments they used were the Cello, the Piano and Violins. It was very good music. We're walking back to the hotel and somebody gives us a brochure and it says Time Travel In Vienna. We look at it and my mom decides that my sister and I should go. At the beginning Mozart, Maria Theresa, and Sissi are fighting while telling there life story. We learned a lot. After that we went into a different room and Franz Joseph, Sissi, Maria Theresa, and Maximillian told why they were important. After that Franz Joseph showed his family tree. Did you Maria Theresa was related to him. After that there was something 5D which is, hear, feel, smell, see, and motion. You watched different times in Vienna's history. For an example the plague. You could rats running around screen. It made you feel as if you were a rat going in with them. Also you had a rat tail at the bottom of your seat which whipped you and you had air blowing at you from every direction. During the video a guy turned around with a rat mask on my sister told me that this was the doctor and the masks kept away the disease. This was just one of the multiple times in Vienna's history they showed us. After that they took us in a room with statues of Strauss and Mozart ( famous composers). They were fighting about who's music the empress would play first. Mozart said "The empress is rather tired tonight so I'm confident she will play my Queen of the Night." Then Strauss said "But that makes you want to dance so I think she will play my waltz." Then they continue to fight and then they show us music and half of the time it is Mozart's and the other half it is Strauss' music. It was lovely. After that we learned about the war years. First they locked it a room and the screen had an eye watching you then they started talking about all the wars while portraying the wars. Did you know the Allies bombed Vienna which could only mean one thing they were on the Axis Powers' side. At the end you heard a recording of the radio ( it was in Russian) saying the war was over. Last they took in a room and showed a family fighting about all the places they could go. The little girl looked in her snow globe and suddenly she was flying through Vienna in her dreams. She saw the best view of everything and she loves ferris wheels. She even got to see one of the best in the world. You should come to Vienna and go to Time Travel. This was one of my favorite things we have ever done in Europe!
