Well I finally located brains room but as it was still early I let him have his beauty sleep so I had breakfast and chilled for a bit, I finally woke him up it was cool to see him again we went for a walk and of course a beer we met up with Pauline a Irish girl that Brian had met in the hostel so we sat down and had a chat.

We decided that we would pop over to Uruguay so we grabbed our stuff and got the ferry across the journey was ok and we arrived in colonia a hour later where we should have got the connecting bus to Montevideo but for so reason there was a c*** up so we had to stay in the night and get the bus in the morning, so we dumped our stuff in the hi hostel and then went for a walk around the town the town itself is really nice very old looking. We just chilled for the day then bought some beers for later we sat around chatting and drinking and playing cards.

The following morning we got the bus to Montevideo, we jumped in a taxi and headed to the hostel we dumped our stuff in and went out for the day.

We came back later that evening and sat on the terrace roof chilling and chatting etc we finally went to bed around 4 in the morning.

We got up around 12 the next day we went out and had a look around the town and basically just chilled etc. later that day we headed back to BA as we only wanted to spend a few days there. So a 4 hr trip back we arrived in ba.

I had arranged to meet Yuvitka a Chilean girl I met in Chile when we first arrived she was flying in later that evening to spend the week with me before Christmas, so we booked into a hotel bri and Pauline went out for some beers I made my way to the airport and waited I was a little nervous as I hadn't seen her since we left Chile, she came through to arrivals and it was great to see her we hugged then made our way back into town.

We showered and changed etc then headed out to see what was happening we had some dinner then went for a few beers we ended up in a drum and base club it was cool and we had a great night.

The next day we had to find some new accommodation so we ended up in the Maipu Hostel it was ok cheap but ok.

We chilled out for the day popped around the shops etc, and had coffee. Later that evening we went out for dinner a few drinks we didn't want a late night as we was sight seeing around the city tomorrow.

After breakfast we visited all the sites around BA we walked miles we saw the Boca football stadium and various other sites etc. We had a good day and we finished up in the Japanese gardens they were lovely it was a nice end to the day. Later on that evening we popped pout for a few drinks and ended up I this bar with a life band the band was good and we got totally trashed and staggered home LOL.

The next day we spent chilling and basically bumming around.Yuvitka wanted to visit Uruguay so we went to the ferry terminal and booked tickets for the following morning.

After a early night we got up had some breakfast and then grabbed a taxi to the terminal we went trough all the customs etc and then onto the ferry we was heading to colonia for the day we arrived nice and early which gave us a good chance to see the city the weather was lovely as well which was good.

We went for a nice walk along the sea front and visited various sites on the way we had lunch and then headed back to the main town area we looked around the old fort got some lovely photos. It was getting later so we had to make our way to the port to catch our boat back. After getting back we just chilled in the hostel and watch TV.

We had a day of shopping the next day as Yuvitka wanted to get some gifts etc and so did eye stuff in BA is really cheap and good value so we got some nice stuff. We had some lunch and then more shopping LOL.

Later we went out for a lovely meal as it was yuvitkas last night she was flying back to Santiago the next morning. So we got up nice and early and headed to the airport I was sad to say goodbye but we had arranged to meet after new-year in Peru as we was heading to cusco to do machu picchu.

I met up with Bri and Pauline again they had rented a apartment for Christmas and New year as it was cheaper than a hostel so I headed to the apartment it was nice to have my own room and place to chill.

We had a couple of days before Christmas so we just chilled basically and popped to the local bar sat there chatting etc and chilling, we went shopping the following day for all our Christmas food and alcohol etc. we started having a few beers after shopping and carried on till later that evening we finally went to bed as we didn't want to miss Santa the next day.

Christmas morning we got up I had bought Brian an Argentina football shirt so he opened his pressie then we had some breakfast and started to prepare dinner.

Christmas dinner was lovely roasts, chicken, vegetables gravy it was delicious so we polished that of and had some lovely wine and champers.

We all felt stuffed after that but we still managed to fit in more beer, we chilled for the rest of the day watching TV and chatting etc. Later that evening we popped to the local restaurant and had lots more beer.Next new-year
