Sue had her big 40th birthday yesterday. She got to experience snow before her birthday for the first time in moscow. And she got to celebrate Halloween on her birthday. These things have never happened to her before. It got really cold last and it snowed in the middle of October. But it has warmed up and the snow is gone soon to return soon. Our school is next to a housing development where many of our kids live. Embassy workers live there and many other people too. They decided to have Halloween early because usually by the 31st it is too cold to trick or treat here. So we went trick or treating last night and kids were running around everywhere without parental supervision and parents were wanting outside with bowls of candy awaiting. Kind of like when we were little trick-or-treating. So that was here birthday. And tomorrow we get to celebrate it with new teacher friends at our friends apartment. Hopefully it will be a great Four-0. And if it isn't we are going to Munich to see the Foo Fighters. I'll let you know how that goes laetr.
