We are excited to welcome eleven wonderful and well-prepared people from TLC this evening. All thirteen of us began preparing for this Holy Week trip by meeting monthly, starting last September. The eleven arriving tonight continued meeting when we left for our sabbatical in January. It's amazing how quickly time has passed!
We will see and experience many things, but our first stop tomorrow will be at Cristo Rey Lutheran and then Achkiy, the fairtrade organization that employs women who produce lovely jewelry, greeting cards, calendars, etc. We will visit two of the homes of these women and see their reality.
If you'd like to send any greetings to the group, please leave a message here and we'll make sure to deliver! Otherwise, please keep Dave, Matt, Sandy, Paul K, Lynne, Cindy, Shelly, Hannah, Mike, Brian, Pastora Luisa (from our partner congregation St. Paul's in South Minneapolis, PS, and Paul E in your prayers as we explore, worship, and learn in another part of the world that God loves.
