Shanghai was like you would expect, a mix of old and new. Didnt do very much, went on a tour that took us to a tea ceremony, which was nice and resulted in us buying some tea...And a silk factory.. which resulted in us buying a number of silk duvets. Roisin Glad you guys are having a great time...Lou checked my luggage and no sign of your money (i recall a conversation about you putting them somewhere safe?!!!...hmmm ...think you two need my organising!!!) Such nice weather here at the mo... totally dying in the heat at work, starting to feel like I have never been away... Anne Maria Great to see your stunning photos!We're still sweltering in the heat here would you believe! Grainne, had your Mum round for a coffee yesterday afternoon along with Helen Gilliland and Auntie Liz.Had afternoon tea on the patio! We gave your Mum this website so that she could catch up on all your news. Louise. your Dad, Michael, myself and Anne Flannery are driving down to Wales at the weekend to see Jack and we're staying the night at Peter's cottage. teddy Hi! How was Singapore? Got the latest photos. Great to see you all. You seem to be having, despite the rain. I am having a lot of trouble with my e-mail server at the moment. So may not be able read or send e-mails for a while. Managed to get internet access via STA travel. so will use this at the moment. We are still in the middle of a heatwave at the moment. It makes such a difference. We are eating "al fresco" all the time. Even went for a short stroll at midnight last night!! Your sofa arrived. It's still in the hall -- too hot to carry up 2 flights of stairs!! will get round to it before you return!!! Saw Ellen, Stu & co last night. They had a fabulous holiday in Boston. They all want to go and live there!! So much better than LA. How did you enjoy the "scooters"? Did you all manage to stay on? How's the weather in Thailand? not too oppressive I hope.Enjoy the next leg of your adventure. Hope you find you bats you dizzy bat!!!! Take care. Love Dad

Teddy Hi! Great to hear that you are having a fun adventure, but I'd love to see more photos. So hurry up and upload them! We are having a heat wave here at the moment. Temps in high 70's -80's. In fact it's to go up to 90's on Wednesday. Makes a chnge from the normal Glasgow Fair weather. We got a new barbeque and it is well used already! Look forward to seeing the photos!!! Have fun on the next leg of your hols.

Anne Maria Great to see photos of LA with Mary and Makena.I'm sorry you didn't get the weather you were hoping for but I'm sure you will have a great time regardless. We had a lovely holiday,very relaxing,great food but too hot!! Michael is treating us to a meal at Andrew Fairlie's tomorrow for his birthday- yum!yum!
