Early Sunday morning start to be on the first ferry out of Ardrossan to Brodick. Clouds cleared from the summit just as I reached it after climbing the steep and slightly scrambly final section of path. Lovely day out, ending with a lovely path down through the woods to Brod*** Castle before a walk back to the ferry terminal for fish and chips.
