2016 - Off to Utah
Driving day. We left Munising around 8 o'clock. We had a quick stop at the Agate Falls. We were able to hike right to the base of the falls.
We continued west through Wisconsin. It was a pretty drive with the leaves finally changing colour and some rolling hills. Wisconsin is the place to go if you need a duck blind.
We arrived at Duluth, Minnesota, the very western tip of Lake Superior. We now know why Minnesota is called the "Land of Lakes". We crossed the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota and made it about 30 miles from North Dakota. We found a camp site right at the lake in the town of Detroit Lakes and were able to walk to Zorbas for dinner.
