Jambo!!!

Well im finally here in Arusha :) Nice warm weather, but mainly cloudy and a few showers throughtout the day most days. The flight was really good, was well looked after by the staff, must of eaten about half the plane weight in food and drink. Was met by Freddie at kilmanjaro airport, he was really nice and started teaching me swahili straight away. Must best word i have learned so far is Poa cheesy coman deeszy. (if thats how u spell it) it means cool like banana's , crazy like banana's. It just makes me giggle. I have my first swahili proper lesson tomorrow (tuesday).

I am sharing a room with catherine and lindsay in the Sengretti Room, Its really nice. I have the top bunk, so does lindsay and catherine has the single bed. It is hallerious when u need a wee, you have to try and untuck your mosquito net and climb down in the dark. Everyone is really friendly here, they can never do too much for you. The house is really nice and big, loads of security around the house in the way of metal gates and 2 men with guns so were all safe. We went out for a meal with all our house mates last night and we went to this euthopian restaurant, was sooo yummy.

Today me and lindsay and catherine are off to the hotel for a few hours in the pool. Then prob chill out and maybe so some uni work :P well im going to try. Oh by the way before i forget, the food everywhere is sooo nice especially our cook witness, her food is divine. Always something to eat in the fridge. Plus she cooked us pancakes for breakfast with maple syrup yummm :) And to make it healthy i had a fresh fruit juice and some fruit lol.

Anyway must go, Will try and write later/tomorrow or wednesday.

Missing you all sooo much especially mum, dad, dani and mat.
