The Last Great American Story Teller Sandy - Sorry for the delayed response but I ran into a couple legal issues as I was heading out of town to perform the tree trimming and gutter cleaning you requested. Saturday morning I packed my bags and began my trek to your place, let's just say I had problems from step one.No, literally, my first step takes me from my home in Phoenix, to just outside the sleepy little town of Flagstaff, AZ.As I put my foot down it feels as though a small pebble is stuck in my shoe.I look down to find that I have stepped on another fire hydrant!I mean, come on!How times a week this is going to happen.Frustrated I pick up a near by light pole and jam it into the gushing hydrant, turn around and head back to Phoenix to face the music for my destruction of public property. Bob says…Oh sorry my fault. Bob is Mr. Bob Charleston, the Phoenix Fire Chief; needless to say this is not my first rodeo. Bob informs me I will be required to perform 24 hours of community service to repay my debt to society.He suggests a newly piloted community out reach program called, "Freaks for Felines."Who knew that cat's stranded in trees was such an epidemic in the Greater Phoenix-Metro Area? Here is how it works.If you commit a non-violent crime and on your drivers license you are listed at 6'6" or over you are immediately enter into the program.Next, the issue is sent to the Credit Card Review Committee (CCRC) whom now, thanks to the Patriot Act, can legally search one year's worth of a convicted offenders credit card receipts. I know, I know, can you believe big brother!? Anyway, what they are looking for is any Retailer that the offender has made a purchase from in the last year categorized under the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC CODE) either "B" and/or "T's."Of course these clever acronyms are just covers for the words, "Big and Tall Store." Talk about profiling. Sure enough after picking through my statements with a fine tooth comb they find that last February I had a receipt from, "Billy's Big Boy Shoes and Boats."I swear to god!You try and buy a pair of sandals in size 16 at Nordstrom's! Long story long, I spent the last week walking around the city pulling stranded cats from trees for the court order 24 hours. Other then multiple scratches and a new affinity for Cat-Nip I am really none the worse for wear. On that note, let me grab my axe and saddle up my Big Blue OX, Babe. I am on the way to clean the gutters and trim the trees. P.S: Work is (still) a little slow today! Love you Mal!

Ceebsy Heyyyy clark and mal just wanted to say whatup and i miss you guys incredibly. I saw your house in the Lake Minnetonka mag and was really sad because i never hang out there anymore! (your house looked amazing though) I did stop by and watch the twins with Richardo and saw little Bo Bo. And by the way Hannah makes amazing cookies believe you me haha can't wait for you to come back its time to go back to AZ and play some golf. Take care of mal for me--chadwick

Daddy Scott, In case you haven't heard from Mal, I got the three AM call from Portygal this morning. They were with Diego taking their Dunwoody entrance exams. Sand Lake inside joke. All is well.

Scott Has one heard from them recently? I talked to Mal on Sunday and they were getting ready to explore a canyon. Just curious if they made it out?

Scott Jackie- I have entirely to much time on my hands. The economy isn't really lending itself to corporate real estate expansion currently.
