Finally reached the South Island, it's taken me two months to get here! My last few days in Wellington were awesome: Monday 5 May: I got up really early and went to the 7.30am mass at St Mary of the Angels, beautiful big church and really nice mass too. 2/4/2008 - After a few fab nights out in Taupo, I jumped back on the bus heading south to River Valley. 24/03/2008 - This morning I left Rotorua to go on the "East As" part of the "Kiwi Experience" which basically travels around the east coast to the pretty remote parts of the North Island. The main rule on the bus is "NO STRESS." We stopped for supplies and lunch in a little town called Whakatane (fa-ka-tanny) which had a really pretty beach.
