After a long hot bus journey with Broken aircon... we are in KUALA LUMPUR!!! you can tell from the pics that the heat got to us a little and we went a bit mad!

We stayed in KL for a few days but soon discovered that other than shopping (which is not one of my first choices) and unless you are one of those tourists that wanna see everything they can deem a "tourist attraction" there wasnt alot to do. Its a nice city though and very clean and easy to get around. Yesterday we spent the day shopping around various shopping centres and markets ...very cheap, but nothing i wanted... and today we spent the day shopping again! This time in Times Square Building, which was massive!! there was about 10 massive floors of shops, 2 cinemas and a rollercoaster inside!

So Jo had enough of the city (cant blame her) and wanted to get to another beach, so instead of making our way to singapore we booked a cheap flight to Bali (yes i know, im still going backwards...) so the next day we planned to get up early and visit the twin towers and hopefully get a ticket up to the top to experience the view of the city before our flight to Bali. Of course staying up til 2 in the morning watching dvds was not such a great idea in hindsight as we didnt quite make it to get the tickets to go to the top of the tower for the early session and by the time we got there only 3.30pm tickets were left- but we had a flight to catch so a few quick snaps are we were off....Bali here we come
