HAPPY CHRISTMAS! Well, its been almost a year now since we left good old Blighty and strangely... we're missing you lot! Its going to be abit strange having a hot Christmas so far away from all the family and friends. Just have to chuck a turkey on the barbie' and sink a few tinnies down the beach then! Apart from going to the beach alot, nothing new to report really. We went to see the John Butler Trio play live for our 5th anniversary last week (yes, 5 years together!) and got to meet the man himself at a signing earlier that day. Went up to Palm Beach a few weeks ago. Its a lovely bay and its where Home and Away is filmed! We bought a car a few months ago and have driven it around Sydney and up the coast, but we decided to get rid of it after we spotted a water leak and decided it was too small for all our (or should I say my) stuff! We managed to actually sell that mighty Nimbus for a profit and we are now the proud owners of a long-wheel base Toyata Hiace van. Its pretty big (compared to the Vantte at least) but should get us around Oz in relative comfort. Fingers crossed... After almost 4 months of the daily grind, we've both remembered why we left office jobs behind and went traveling! Working really sucks, especially when the weather is so good outside. Not long now though. Clare finishes Friday, and I'm just working part time over Christmas week and first week of new year. Then on 7th Jan we're leaving our flat in Bondi and getting back on the road again. Hoorah! So, have a great Christmas and new year everyone and maybe leave us a note on the message board as we like reading your news from back home.
