Hey, here you are NICK - as you were the worrying where are updates were!

We arrived in Tully - OW DEAR!!! what a s***'ole it was! it was a state - we were WWoofing with a family nearby (well 30 mins inland, with no phone signal) basically WWoofing is working on organic farms for 4 hours a day in exchange for accommodation and food ! Well what a mistake that was!!!!! It was a hole in its own right - discusting house and all you that know me (clare) know that i like things clean - well daws had a fly in his dinner - we had a bat fly into our room on the first night (so we quickly made an exit to the campervan) there were ants in the sugar, and march flies everywhere!!! We then got made to go to a christian outing - singing and dancing etc, you can imagine we werent amused! We spent 6 days picking sweet potatoes and chopping banana leafs!! The food was vile and we shoveled it down evey day, and we never want to see bananas - pumpkin or sweet potatoe again. The final straw was broken when daws got a cold from lack of good food and meat - and had and upset stomache!! So thursday morning 7am we were outta there!!!!!!! Bye bye Peter and Beryl - ow did i mention the cockroaches????

So here we are, back in are loved campervan cruising the coast again!!! Having the time of our lives, we have just been inland to Charters towers - a cowboy country which was great fun, learning about when they discovered gold etc. We also learnt that in 1946 they had a wooping 21.79 meters of rain than flooded the river!! Thank god we didnt get rained in.
