Hey all,
It seems ages since we last filled you all in. Well we are now in Surfers Paradise (pretty tacky, just full of skanky drunks - mainly BRITISH!!) but the beach is great.
But the past two weeks we have had the most fantastic time.... We have been to Tin Can Bay and fed wild dolphins that come into the Bay every morning. We have been to Maryborough which was a very nice little town (Where the author of Mary Poppins was born!) But the highlight for us was 1770, Agnes Water & Rainbow beach, we just found paradise on earth here, we have decided to retire in 1770, a lil fishing village, not touristy just perfect!
Another highlight has been Noosa, it was the most beautiful place ever, we loved it. Didnt want to leave, just eating ice cream, having coffee and it was Melbourne Cup day, so everyone was celebrating! The lifestyle here is incredible, everyone does breakfast and coffee!!!! My kinda life! We had a great few days here, then headed to Australia Zoo 'CRIKEY' it was a huge shrine to Stevo... was a great day out though seeing the crocs etc.
We then went to the Glass House Mountains which were beautiful, and then on to Brisbane which we very much liked, it had shops and everything!!!! HMV! We got our mullets chopped and look like respectable people again, daws had the biggest boff ever!!!!!
So we are here in Surfers Paradise for the next 2 days then take the camper to Byron Bay where we start our WWoofing for the second time, lets hope its better than the first.
