Hi all Waiting for the Fiji flight now. I am sorry that the time has gone so fast in Japan. Since last post I have had a spa bath on the top of a skyscraper, visited the A-bomb dome in Hiroshima and stayed til 6am at karaoke! xxx

Konnichiwa! Yesterday visited Himeji castle which was beautiful. The sun has been out now for three days which has helped us dry out from last week (we were a little soggy). Now we are in Kumamoto in Kyushu. Today we took a train to an active volcano at Aso - the most appropriate adjectives would be stinky and amazing. Hope everyone is ok back home. xxx

Today we visited Nara, a nearby town full of beautiful old shrines and temples. It is the ancient capital of Japan. We had a great day and saw the sun for the first time since arriving! `Sacred` deer stroll through the park which you can feed. We`ve strolled through Kyoto this evening, had sushi for dinner & got a glimpse of a real geisha. It couldn`t get much better! Hope you are all ok. Clare xxx
