Hey Claire,
Gee girl, I tell you, when you can make me laugh out loud, you know your writing a great novel. How lovely to meet someone from Wanneroo, did you ask him if he lived near the farm equipment?? You are never going to forget this holiday, lots of fun and adventure. I'm so proud of you, not getting alot of motion sickness, maybe turning 26 makes a difference. As far as here is concerned, same s..t, different day!! Everyone is well, so I guess beggars can't be choosers. Anyway my love, I just thought I would let you know, how much I'm enjoying your stories, keep them up when you can, your life is so much more exciting than mine. Keep well and have heaps of fun. LOL Mexoxo

Hiya Clairebear,
So much reading so little time. Too much work to do - remember work? It's ok I'm doing enough for us both. I think a change of career is in order for you. Writing for lonely planet. I'm so impressed with your journalistic skills & I only found one typo! Well done. I know you thought the holiday would never happen and now that it is it sounds like you're making every moment count. Continue to enjoy. Lotsaluv AM

Hi everyone, don't worry I'm still alive!
I've updated the Bangkok blog to include another couple of days - still need to add details from Chiang Mai, hilltribe trekking and the start of Cambodia, but internet here is unbelievably slow, the keyboards stick which makes typing a pain in the arse, and the computers at the cafe I'm in now won't let me upload my photos - isn't Asia supposed to have the good technology?
Quick update - finished the Thailand part of the tour on Thursday, said goodbye to most of the group (though one person is here on my Cambodia tour, and another two are also in Cambodia), and on Friday did the long drive to the border and across into Siem Reap - all up, about 11 hours of travel on a bumpy road - and we know how much my stomach loves that! I'm pretty proud I only threw up once...
Did the Angkor temples yesterday, very old, very packed, lots of kids with sad faces and smooth sales techniques harrassing us to buy stuff. Going to the floating village this arvo, then tomorrow we head to Kampong Cham via Phnom Penh for a one-night homestay, then to Sihanoukville for three days on the beach doing b*****-all, and a big night is planned for my birthday - can't wait!
Will add photos soon - once I can find some technology...
Wendy
Hay Claire,
No doubt, you write a great blog, very entertaining. Sounds like you have had a few life experiences already which keeps you on your toes. Life here is the same, all work and no play, makes wendy and craig very boring people. We need to live thru your adventures, so our life doesn't seem so dull. Well my love, just thought I'd touch base and let you know we look forward to your little messages, keep well and have lots of fun. LOL Mexoxo
Mum
Where are you????
Glad to hear the first couple of days of your trip has gone OK..Hope you don't have permanent spinal injuries from the little Thai lady massage.
Everyone here is OK, except Mark lost his job last Friday. Warren has health problems and has to scale the business back and unfortunately Mark was 'last on, first off', so he's feeling a bit down about it all and is having a bit of a holiday for a week or so and will then have to find himself another job. At this stage he wants to get out of his trade and do something different.
We went to Yallingup last weekend. It was cold, raining, and hail. Not the best when staying in a shed.
Hope to see another blog from you soon. Stay safe and lock your bags!!!!!
