Daz I remember saying about the eye gouging to prevent replication elsewhere. The hands part wouldn't surprise me either. I'm vaguely aware of other tales too plus a few conspiracy stories! Either way it's great to hear your personal account of the best way to visit the Taj Mahal to see it in all it's glory. Great anecdotes for the travel guides too.

Priya Rishikesh is really lovely. So peaceful and scenic and a nice climate as well. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially for the white water rafting :)

Priya I don't like writing bad things about a place but I have pretty much nothing nice to say about Delhi. The people are rude, pushy and unhelpful. I couldn't get out of there quick enough but Aunty G is right... at least I can adapt to anywhere now ;)
