Wow, 2 weeks in Fiji went by so fast! We have spent the whole time at the Beach house! We spent our first few days just chilling and sunbathing, and then before we new it our first week was over and we either had to check out or extend our stay. We hadn’t got round to organizing any trips out to the Islands, plus everyone we had spoken to said the Islands where beautiful yet very basic accommodation (some without electricity after dark) more expensive than the main Island even though you were not getting the same standard of accommodation, plus we seen people who had been eaten alive by mosquito’s, and I mean absolutely covered in really nasty bites. So anyway we decided that we had moved around enough and seen enough beautiful beaches already that we were more than happy to stay put for 2 weeks. It’s been a really relaxing time, we have been snorkeling, fishing and horse riding. We have made loads of coconut jewellery and a hat and a bag from coconut leaves. We have had 3 Bula massages and had a crazy day trip to Suva, the capital. We have met lots of nice people holidaying or traveling and the Fijian people are so nice. Its been great!Im off to Mexico next and im really looking forward to that, its only 6 weeks now till I see my Mum and Dad, yay! But Gemma is going home…boo hoo! We have had a really amazing 10 weeks together and it has been great to have someone to share it all with! I’l be sad to see her go home!I have a monster journey tomorrow from Fiji-LA-Charlotte-Mexico. It takes me 30 hours from leaving Fiji to arriving in Mexico. All good fun though! Il update soon. xx
