So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen........Goodbye!
Hello everyone!
Sorry it has been a while since we last updated. It's been very busy, the past few weeks. So where did we last leave off.....oh yes I remember we had just left cairns and was back in good old Perth! Claire managed to get a job in two days, Well-done Claire! She was working for the small business cooperation for a week.No she is working for the WA Police Department handing out gun licenses! Now I know what you're thinking.....and she can't bail you out of jail!!!!! As for myself I found it a bit for difficult as I wanted to work in childcare and have to fill out a lot of paper work just to allow me to work. In the end I managed to get it done and I started to work for a company called Mulberry Tree childcare. I worked in the suburb called Double view very close to Scarbough beach as a relief member of staff.I really enjoyed working there and got to know the staff really well. As time went on I was not guaranteed steady work which made me worry.Which then led to the decision that I was going to back home to Scotland but before I leave I had to go visit one of my closest friends I made while I was working on the Disney Wonder.....Curly Claire!!! After I booked my flight I felt a huge sense of relief not having to worry all the time. I wanted to spend my last few weeks enjoying the time I had left so I had a jam packed weekend with Claire and Kyle. We went to Swan Valley and got Margret River chocolate (by far the best chocolate I have ever had!!) then went to play golf (definitely my father's daughter as I played shockingly!) Then on Sunday we went to an AFL game and watched as the Fremantle Dockers lost both games (very disappointed) then headed to my favourite Chinese in Sorrento and had a yummy meal!
On Tuesday I when to the airport and got on a plane and headed to Port Macquarie to visit Curly Claire. I got to Sydney and waited for my connecting flight but I was delayed by 3 hours as the company I was flying with had a computer malfunction but got to Curly Claire's in the end.She lives in a town called Kempsey (I wonder if the Kemp Clan named it lol!!) Her family home is lovely and so is her family, even all of their animals although Roxy the goat is very naughty eating all of their beautiful plants! I spent the whole week relaxing, topping up my tan, chilling in the hot tub and catching up on all the gossip since we last seen each other, since it's been a year...we certainly had a lot to catch up on!!It has just been great to sit back and relax and not have to stress about everyday life, since when I get back to Aberdeen I will be on the job hunt again and applying for college courses.I have just finished packing all my things for the last time! I'm having a nice quite night in with Claire, drinking wine and chilling out in the hot tub.....what a perfect way to end my 6 month long trip!
I wish Claire good luck and keep on living the dream!
I arrive back in Aberdeen on the 24th of Feb so I look forward to catching up with you all as soon as I defeat the jetlag!
