The next day, after looking for ages on the Google Maps for somewhere to camp and finding that all national park where closed, we called a relative who lives in the Sunshine Coast and asked if we could seek refuge there for a while. Finally we had a destination!! To the Sunshine Coast!! We would be staying for the week before driving back down to the Gold Coast Airport.
