wow well its been a really long time since ive updated my blog hasn't it??? well we finished our job in Bowen after a long 3 and a half weeks of looking at rotten tomatoes and throwing them into the bin for 13 hours a day!!

From Bowen we caught the bus back down to Airlie Beach again to meet up with Aaron so that we could carry on travelling together...we stayed in koalas hostel again but when we arrived there were no rooms available at any of the hostels so we had to book into a private double room which cost a fortune and it was swarming in ants...well that was only for one night anyway so it wasnt too bad like! Then after that Aaron went on his Whitsundays trip and me and Orlagh moved into a dorm which we had to ourselves lol....whilst we were in there we found four cockroaches it was minging i was so scared but never fear...we had spray cooking oil haha Orlagh was a legend and killed them all coz i was so scared she was so brave :D

From Airlie Beach we moved onto Cairns which was amazing...the bus journey took us a long time to get there but we managed lol! We checked into Gilligans hostel which was more like a hotel...we stayed there for two nights before we went onto Cape Tribulation...Whilst we were in Cairns we went out for Aarons birthday it was a rotten night was stinking drunk but i dont care i enjoyed myself and thats all that matters!!! lol

The next day we moved onto Cape Tribulation...on the way we stopped at this river and did a little crocodile hunting..we saw like two baby ones so it was a bit crap and i got a few bites but whats new ay!! Then we carried on and stopped again halfway into the rainforest and did a little walk around the trees then we moved onto the hostel...it was like a little cabin it was cool! After we had sorted out our bags me and Orlagh went and surfed the jungle it was really exciting and well worth the money! We were harnessed to a piece of rope and dangled 75 metres above the ground i loved it! We arrived back and just took it easy for the rest of the night went exploring the beach and such like and just playin around really! The next day it was time to come back so we went to our first stop which was a lookout point...you could see the place where Steve Irwin died from there it was surreal like! After that we went onto Mossman Gorge (or mossman george a orlagh calls it!) that was amazing...just like a gorge but with loads of rocks an stuff so we had a little climb well actually i never i was the photographer lol then we got back on the bus and went to Port Douglas which was a quiet little town bit it was nice like! We got back to Cairns and stayed there for a few more nights and was there for halloween which was cool...i never dressed up coz i hate it but most people were and they looked amazing!

After Cairns we got a bus back down to Townsville where we caught the ferry to Magnetic Island...we checked into Magnums hostel and everything was ok until night time...we walked into our room and there were bedbugs everywhere on the walls, floor, ceiling, and beds...aaron got bit 19 times on one arm...i never slept i just stood and cried to myself haha loser! We had enough anyway and went to another hostel at 1am which didnt have bedbugs...the next day we hired out a car and drove around the island walking out to different lookout points which was cool! had a little drive myself i miss driving lol i want sukki!!! anyway yeah the next day we took the car back and went to catch the ferry back to townsville and we caught the bus down to Hervey Bay which took a long time lol 15/16 hours actually! we got there and checked into our accommodation but it was like 6am when we arrived so yeah we slept for a while....then we had to get sorted for our trip to Fraser Island...

The next day we were on our way...all 11 of us in a rickity 4x4 jeep and it was amazing...our group was cool which is always a good thing...we got bogged trying to get up a hill lol but so was everyone so it wasnt too bad like...then we got bogged again so it took us a while to get to where we were going! We eventually arrived at Lake Makenzie which was one of the most beautiful things that i have ever seen...the water was that pure u could drink it! Then after that we went to a place called Eurong and then onto the beach where we camped with the dingos...you could hear them running around outside the tents at night!!! There were no showers or toilets so ya couldnt wash and ya had to wee wee outside which i didnt like one bit!! The next day we went to Lake Wabbi which was lovely too it was a lake surrounded by sanddunes it was cool!! Then we went for a drive up the beach to see a ship that was washed up onto the beach in 1935 and we took pictures and stuff..then we went to Eli Creek where we played for a while lol...after that we went back to the camp had our tea then went to bed an stuff lol....the next day was our last day...one of the scariest moments of my life...i went for a wee up this hill and as i started to come back down a dingo was walking towards me growling..i was petrified....so i did what i was told i crossed my arms and started to back away from it slowly...i got to the bottom of the hill and it was still following me then aaron came and saved me i have never been so scared in all my life!! I soon recovered though and we packed up our camp stuff and made our way back to Lake Makenzie and stayed there for about 5 hours then we came back to the hostel...it was a cool trip i likedddd!!

The next day we got another bus down to Brisbane...only 6 hours long this time and we are now staying at one of Orlaghs family friends houses which is great we had a barbeque yesterday and today we are just chilling...going to book flights to perth later on so i will update ya soon haha xxxxx
