Hiya everyone! Well I thought that even though I've only been here a day that I would update you all on how its going here!

Well it didn't start too well on the day that we were leaving...the car electrics broke ha so we had to go in dad's car instead...then we got to Heathrow and I was sat in the airport for only just over an hour before we were called to board...the airport was an experience in itself...not only were there loads of foreigners walking around with swine flu masks on but as I was waiting to board four chinese ladies decided that it was time to eat a hard boiled egg each haha...first leg of the flight was ok sat next to a chinese girl who fell asleep the whole way so I couldn't get out to go to the toilet in the end i poked her and she moved ha! Then it was onto Sydney from Beijing or so I thought anyway...we made a stop at Shanghai so that they could clean the plane for some reason...then we were back on the plane and over to Sydney...got here ok went through customs and all that fine!

The hostel is really nice I'm in an all girls dorm for four people and I've been talking to a girl called Sarah but she's gone now onto Brisbane I think she said ha so its just me and a German girl now...the people at the hostel told me that my realgap orientation was today at 9.30 so I trekked all the way to the office thingy and after getting lost and being worried that I'd miss it I finally arrived to be told that it wasn't today but Thursday..stupid hostel people! Anyway they gave me my sim card but when I tried to put it in my phone it turns out that my phone isn't unlocked haha nightmare! So I have to go and find somewhere tomorrow that will do it for me! Oh and I nearly had a heart attack yesterday...i got out of the shower and I thought that I had bought the wrong travel plug so I had no hairdryer or straighteners...as u can imagine my hair was Monica x300 haha nah it wasnt too bad...but then I worked out that it does work after all so I have nice straight hair today :)

Craig is on his way up now so I'll have someone to play out with :) should be fun! Oooh yesterday me and Sarah went up to the BBQ on the roof and had a kangaroo burger...it was beautiful haha....just been for another latte haha and saw a man in a brown suede jacket dancing to sexual healing in the cafe haha funny stuff! Sydney is full of chinese people! I've seen more here than I did when I was in Beijing ha hey ho thats life! OOOOH and to make matters worse can u guess what the first song I heard was...that's right LADY BLOODY GAGA! I wasn't impressed hahaha!

Well I must dash but I'll try and update again sometime soon :)
