I'm currently trying to finalise the itinerary for my US trip in November/ December. I've decided not to book flights until I have got my itinerary exactly how I want it!

As part of my trip I am booked on a short Mercy Ships Alumni cruise from Texas to Mexico, Cayman Islands and Jamaica.

I'm really looking forward to spending quality time with old friends from Mercy Ships, and in Jamaica we will be hopefully spending the day helping to paint a local orphanage.

It's a shame I am not spending more time in Jamaica as this is where my Stepmum Verna (who died last year) was originally from, and I would love to see her homeland (and my 'adopted homeland'!!) properly. Perhaps one day I'll return for a lengthier trip and check out where she lived J
