Good to hear all is going well over there. Must have been great to find a job and flat so quickly. Hope it isn't too stressful..... and you still have time to enjoy the delights of London. Must be starting to get a bit cool and wet there, time to buy thermals, scarf, hat, gloves etc etc...... Starting to get a bit sunnier over here, though still quite nippy. Having our street bbq next sunday, hopefully the weather will co-operate. New people have moved into the church property and Bruce called in to invite them to join us. He is a spec builder and they have a couple of cats and a dog. Seems as though all the 'permanents' in the street will be there, (Susan wanted to make another delicious desert - yumm) and we will have a drink for you..... Will bring everyone up to date with your travels, job etc.
All looks pretty good at your place. No great excitement in the street.
Have you decided to spend christmas? Oh to have the choice of enjoing turkey etc with the snow falling outside (!) or basking in the sun for a break from the cold and snow..... Wherever it is have a great one.
Finish work on Friday so will get back into pounding the pavement up Mt Albert, never know might even get Bruce there too! Apart from getting to and from work are you managing to get in some walking? Hampstead Heath is really great for a wander and never tired of St James park, buck house, trafalgar square (where the new statue of the NZ airman Park has been unveiled). Hope your managing to see some shows - Jersey Boys and Billy Elliot were great.
Have a great Xmas, wherever it is. Happy travels.

Hi Claire
What a suprise!! You are tecnlogogically advanced!!! All still the same at ATWC. Raining and pouring outside.
I am so happy for you that all worked out fine at the other side of the world. I had this nasty cold and cough for many many days now. I saw another dr and I am now on antihistamines for Africa.
My mother and sister is coming to visit the end of November, I can't wait for them to come!!! Fritz and I are going to celebrate our 25th anniversary in Rarotonga for a week!! How exciting!!
Just shows that we can have fun this side of the world as well.
You take care of yourself Claire, I am so proud of you. I am definitely going to do the same in 2 years time.
Please stay in touch
Love
Annelize

Hey Claire,
Finally found your blog at work this afto. I also need to apologise for not getting to see you before you left work. As you know things happen at work that you have no control over sometimes. so pleased to hear that you have fgot a job. The weather has been a bit of a b***** lots of rain and it got really cold a couple of weeks ago.
Work - its the same. DR is progressing but still have the same problems so you see nothing much changes - that is quickly. I have only met your fill in once so not sure how she is going. Anyway I will keep you posted. Three of us turned up for the peer supervision meeting today, we have decided to make it monthly as it seems to hard for people to get to.
You may have already heard - Jenny Graham died last week and her funeral was last Friday.
Hey my sister is over there at the moment. Her first time so she is doing all the spots and will leave for Europe on Saturday for a month back to London for a couple of days and home. She has been txting me furiously about all the places she has visited and I am sitting here feeling quite envious - she is just loving it.
I'll be checking your blog daily as I am on the comp nightly checking emails etc.
