hiya everyone, well we arrived on the island of koh tao 3 days ago and i am having the best time. mike has started his open water diving course and should qualify tomorrow. i am 2 out of 5 dives into my advanced. i have also done 2 fun dives on the first day. the diving is pretty wkd and the visibility is great. i am currently sitting in a bar call the safety stop for any divers im sure you underdstand the significance). the dive club are excellent and we have already made some good friends, its easy really because we have a common interest. i have a big dive tomorrow morning which means i go down 30metres/100 feet, should be cool though. the pub is having a bbq on the beach tonight and i have just had the best chicken and pineapple kebab ever !!! havent really been up to much after a hectic few days in bangkok, have just kinda chilled out and am loving the diver scene. i could really get used to it. we have about 2 more weeks hoping onto the various islands, so that should be good. mike is really enjoying his course too, he reckons he's a natural!! today we dived in a place called the japenese gardens, which was wkd we saw so many fish and the reef was beautiful. anyway not really got much more to say and have some homework to do for my dive tomorrow. speak soon. love claire xxxx
