Hello from Bolivia, where we´ve had a brilliant few days. First, to Copacabana on Lake Titicaca from Cusco, where we spent a couple of days on the Isla de Sol - which the Incas believed to be the cradle of civilization - a really beautiful place and hard to believe that it´s a lake and not the sea gfrom the expanse of water out in front of you.
Then to La Paz, where the highlight was biking down the world´s most dangerous road and going from mountains to jungle, down gravel roads with sheer drops and through waterfalls in 62km of downhill. But we also managed to fit in a local football match (where the riot police were actually on the pitch not near the spectators) a beer spa and cholita wrestling as well as taking in the sights. All fantastic.
Now we´re heading south, through Oruro to Uyuni where we´re hoping to pick up a trip through the Salar de Uyuni salt flats and into Chile.
More soon
