Ciao, - hello :)

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with my blog lately I have been quite busy enjoying the Italian culture! So many things have happened over the past few days with some ups and also some downs. There have been some laughs, a couple of tears and a lot of laughing tears (tears from laughing so hard) all up though I'm having the best time ever and Italy really is a beautiful country. Plus this trip really is an experience & a half but also I'm learning so much from it which is always a good thing :)

Some adventures what have consisted over the past few days are Kate and I making idiots out of ourselves, getting locked in the toilet/bathroom and the hotel man having to save me (yes Kate just couldn't stop laughing which made me laugh also) getting lost in Venice, getting squashed on a train, almost missing our train cause we were waiting in the wrong spot, music playing from my phone but we were trying to find out for like 10 minutes where the music was coming from, walking up and down the main street of Treviso (I think I know Treviso pretty well now) trying gelato for the first time, Kate paying like 8 or 9australian dollars for two massive pieces of chocolate then leaving it on the counter, she thought I grabbed them and I thought she grabbed them, we have experienced an Italian night out in Treviso, seen snow, froze our butts off, sat near some Americans, and really have just made the most of our time here. I know half the things I have mentioned above will not be funny to any of you guys but I seriously laugh every time I think about them.

We have also figured out how to use the Italian transport, spent some nights in an Italian hotel, we went to the carnival in Venice! And on the way to Venice I thought I wasn't going to make it off the train alive I was that squished! Getting lost in Venice for like two hours trying to find our way out, taking so many photos I don't think my camera could handle anymore. Made friends with an American lady who had her dog on the train. And discovering how beautiful Venice really is! Seriously I don't think pictures can even show you how amazing it is & there really are no roads! I think its funny how they have boats for cars & for taxis.

I have found my new favourite café in Treviso - it's the best because the people in it speak English :D when we have gone out to eat I've tried some really adventurous foods! We have discovered that Treviso doesn't have bowling, or laser tag! The only thing would be movies but we cant do that because everything will be in Italian!

The coldness here I could never get use to! No matter how many layers I wear I still freeze! And to top it off its meant to snow tomorrow, although personally I don't think it will snow. It will more than likely just rain!
