On our way in pursuit of white or golden sandy beaches. Hold thumbs. Jordan is fed so hopefully he sleeps all of the hour and a half journey. Logan is set with her DVD player.
Jack pot. We found paradise in an hour at a place called agia Napa. Turquoise water, still a bit chillie, set against the white sand and blue skies was a sight to behold and worth driving to find.
We set ourselves up on the beach and immediately the play button was in motion. Building sand castles, Logan fetching buckets of water from the sea, while Jordan was fixated on the strain of sand that he swooshed back and forth with his hands. The day would not have been complete without some sand in Jordan's face, a piña colada to set the tone and a Strawberry ice cream for Logan.
Finally we rounded the day off hiring a pedal boat and Logan and Jordan joined us as we pedalled back and forth in the shallow stretch off turquoise waters. There was a slide fitted to the pedal boat for kids to slide down into the water, but Logan graciously declined complete submersion for fear of becoming even more cold than the little she had experienced from splashing around.
Finally satisfied like the sun at mid day in all it's glory, we headed back to Limassol to our hotel, a lot more up beat, a bit more sun kissed and with 2 sleeping children in the car.
What a perfect day.
