We've spent the last couple of days in Carnarvon, about halfway between Karratha and Perth. It was a long 395 miles to get here, after a not so great nights sleep in Karratha (being woken up by birds in the trees at 4am isn't the best), so we just relaxed around the campsite for our first afternoon. We had what I guess you could call a wasted couple of days when we went further north. We drove the 94 miles back down the coast to Coral Bay and booked onto the Manta Ray tour, only snorkelling as unfortunately all the dive places were full.
