We reached Best Western Plus Blue Square Hotel in amsterdam. ("I wonder why does the name have to be this long??") During checking in with the reception lady, the smoke alarm suddenly alerted the buiding. Few lady workers rush to the telephone and the main desk computer to investigate. It was one funny moment we see in Holland. 2minutes later the alarm being put off and the receptionist told us not to worry as it was caused by some guest smoking in the room. Both of us look at each other and was like "do we still want to stay here?" (haha)

To my surprise the hotel room was amazingly huge. It was shiny clean especially the toilet. We loved it.

Travelling around Amsterdam was easy with the trams and busses. One point that we love about this country is the people. They are absolutely polite, especially in public transport where the drivers will greet each passenger aboard. (Totally different from London)

We went to Dam Square that late evening. As we are not familiar with the place and we are extremely hungry, we went into the first food outlet that we can find and we most familiar with, of course its McDonalds!! We ordered burgers and chips each and also a box of 20 nuggets( wrongly ordered as the waiter has difficulty understanding english) haha..
