Greetings from Juneau! This is my last day in Alaska and tomorrow early in the morning (around 5 am) I will start my long journey home. Time flies.. Two nights in McCarthy in the middle of nowhere plus one night in Valdez since last blog entry. Two fabulous days despite rain and cold. The campground in McCarthy had no facilities but bears around, so it was a little scary especially at night. Today is actually Thursday 24 July and we have left our camp this morning, where we stayed for 3 nights. Cold nights. During those days we've been gone into Denali National Park, where I have seen bears, mouse, caribou, golden eagle. On Tuesday I saw 10 bears, although a mother bear with 2 cubs twice.
