Well, I'm now technically off work and thought I ought to start my my travel journal. Actually, my travel agent sent me an email asking whether I still wanted to bother with this journal idea, given that I've not put in a single entry since setting it up over 2 months ago.  I'm slightly adverse to the whole blog thing, but it is a good way to update those of you who are interested in what I'm doing.

I'm currently in Windsor, sitting in what will soon no longer be my bedroom, doing pretty much anything other than the assignments I'm supposed to complete before I head off around the work for 6 months on 4th Jan.  I have to attain a qualification (CIPD) as part of my job and it's not proving to be easy.

I really should crack on, but have the attention span of a goldfish, distracted by everything and anything to escape from the work.  I'm also extremely excited (you might have guessed by the photo) and can't really think straight.  Still, it's better than being stuck in an office I suppose. Anyway, I'm now going to pull my finger out and actually get on with this work I've been going on about.  Hopefully my next entry will be a bit more interesting!
