DAY 8 - Left Musgrave Station at 8.40am & heading towards Weipa for 2 nights. Ten minutes down the track & we blow a brand new tyre! I'm thinking 3 bad things in the last 2 days is enough. First was a chip in our brand new windscreen , then the back window shattered & now the tyre! Surely nothing more can go wrong, they say in happens in threes. Stopped for lunch at the Archer river roadhouse & were back on the road at 12.15pm. Arrived at Weipa at 2.30pm to find that it's now better to book! If we had only known.Took a walk down to the water to watch the sunset , beautiful.Had a BBQ for dinner & a few drinks.
